iPhone and iPad

What is Monitored?

Bark on iOS monitors Text messages and iMessage (Including deleted text messages), WhatsApp Browsing History, Email, Photos and Video, Instagram*, Twitter, Kik, Facebook, Youtube, Google Drive and Google Docs.

Bark monitors child's iOS device location if check-ins are enabled. See iOS connection instructions.

*Please note that, at present, Bark does not monitor direct messages between users on Instagram for the iPhone or iPad. 

Android Devices

What is Monitored?

Bark for Android: Text messages (Including deleted messages), Email, photos, videos, browsing history, Snapchat*, Instagram (including direct messages and searches), Facebook, Twitter, YouTube views and searches, Musical.ly chats, WhatsApp messages, and Kik messages. Includes deleted text messages. Bark monitors child's Android device location when our check-ins feature is enabled. See Android connection instructions.

*Please note that, at present, we are only able to monitor direct messages on Snapchat for Android.

Amazon Devices

What is Monitored?

Amazon devices are Android devices underneath but we know that not many parents will know that, here is what is included in Bark for these devices: Snapchat*, Instagram (including direct messages and searches), Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest Email, photos, videos, browsing history, YouTube views and searches, Musical.ly chats, WhatsApp messages, and Kik messages and more. Includes deleted text messages. Bark monitors child's Android device location when our check-ins feature is enabled. See Android connection instructions.

*Please note that, at present, we are only able to monitor direct messages on Snapchat for Amazon.

Bark on Mac and PC

What is Monitored?

On Mac and PC, Bark supports Facebook, Instagram, Google Mail, Google Drive and Docs, Twitter, WhatsApp, Youtube, Browsing history via Chrome Browser.
