Have you uninstalled iMazing yet?

  • Yes > Proceed to Method A
  • No > Proceed to Method B

Method A - Deleting the files through Finder

In order to delete old backups from your Mac, you will need to delete the backups manually from the folder they're saved to.

If you have decided to use iMazing's default file folder, the backups will be located in this folder:

  • ~/Library/Application Support/iMazing/Backups

Step 1: Open Finder

Upon opening Finder, go to "Go" in the toolbar at the top of the screen and click on Go To Folder.

Step 2: Copy and paste the file directory

Paste the following...

  • ~/Library/Application Support/

...in Enter a path, as seen below:

To delete all the old backup files, right-click the iMazing and iMazing Mini folder, respectively and select Move to Trash for each.

All set! This will clear your hard drive of the memory of those old backups before proceeding with the rest of the Bark Desktop 5.0 guide!

Note to truly free up the space on your hard drive, you will need to empty your Trash as well. You can find the Trash on the bottom right of your dock:

Step 2: Click 'Later' on the pop-up about purchasing a full license
You will never need to purchase a full license of iMazing if just using it for Bark!

Step 3: Delete the Device and its Backups

  • Right-click on your child's device on the left-hand column and select Forget.¬†
  • In the dialog box, keep Remove Pairing checked and click Forget
  • On the next prompt, select Delete

Step 4: Repeat for each device
Step 5: Delete remaining backups
You will realize they're old backup files that aren't even paired with a device when you right-click on them and see this menu:

You can safely delete these as well by selecting Delete this Backup

All set! This will clear your hard drive of the memory of those old backups and you can safely uninstall iMazing and iMazing Mini before proceeding with the rest of the Bark Desktop 5.0 guide!
