The Bark Desktop App is set to run an automatic backup of the device every 6 hours over WiFi.

However, if your child is home and connected to the WiFi, you may also want to force a backup to occur at your convenience if you'd like to prompt another analysis of your child's iOS device texts (including most deleted ones!), camera roll, and web browsing.
