Presently, the Automatic Backups feature on iMazing is only available on Mac.

We are working hard to release this feature for Windows soon! Click here to read more about keeping iPhone monitoring up to date on Windows.

To schedule automatic backups on Mac, first click on iMazing Mini at the top of your screen. Then, click on the drop-down arrow next to your child's device:

After opening up the options, click on "Change" next to "Automatic Backups".

From here, you'll be able to schedule a time that you would like iMazing to start the backups. We recommend at least a 2-4 hour window, during a time when there's less traffic on the WiFi.
(Keep in mind that if you're using a Macbook, the lid must be open during the time you have scheduled for the backups to happen)

After saving the automatic backup times, click on the Apple logo at the top left corner of your screen and open System Preferences. Click on "Energy Save" and click on "Schedule..." within the window. This is where you'll schedule a time for your Mac to wake up and go to sleep. The backups will not happen automatically if the Mac is asleep.

Click "OK" and exit System Preferences.

You have now set backups to happen automatically on Mac!
