What is Monitored?

Your child's connected email and social media accounts, like Twitter or Gmail, are monitored at the account-level, meaning they are being monitored regardless of the device they are on — phone, tablet, or computer.

Bark can even alert you about potential new accounts or apps your child creates! Click here for more information.

You can install the Bark for Chrome extension on the Google Chrome browser of your child's Windows computer, Chromebook, or Mac, so any web browsing activity they have on Chrome, like website visits and searches (including Incognito Browsing!) will be sent to Bark for analysis of worrisome content.

If your child has a Chromebook, you may also be able to monitor the saved photos and videos (as well as some Android apps like Instagram and Snapchat) on their Chromebook by downloading the Bark for Chromebook app from the Google Play Store. To see if your child's Chromebook is able to install Android apps, click here.
