As part of our mission to provide a free all-encompassing solution to schools, we developed the Chrome web monitoring extension.

The Bark for Schools Chrome web monitoring extension enables schools to keep their students safe by monitoring school-issued Chromebooks for harmful or inappropriate content on website visits (web page titles, URLs, searches).

In the event that the extension needs to be removed or disabled, you'll be able to do so by following this guide.

STEP 1: Log in to your administrator-level account on G Suite. Click Devices on the Admin homepage.

STEP 2: Click on Chrome Management on the left-hand side.

STEP 3: Select Apps & extensions.

STEP 4: Select the OU(s) that contain the students you wish to disable the extension for — bear in mind that the top-level OU in the past may have forced those related sub-OU's to inherit the extension.

STEP 5: Select the Bark for Chrome extension, as seen below:

STEP 6: Click the Trash can icon on the right-hand side to remove the extension.
